In Greek mythology, Iris was the goddess of the rainbow and the messenger of the Olympian gods. Despite playing such an important role of transversing worlds, she had no distinctive myth of her own, nor were there any temples dedicated to her. Yet, over time, she has become associated with communication, messages, the rainbow and new endeavours.
What then is the lure of Iris, or better still, the lure of Iridescence (derived from her name, of course)? We are of the opinion that the answer lies in the belief that Iridescence is the essence of creativity.
At 2BITE, we define creativity as the courage and ability to pursue the “why nots”. The most famous advocate of the “why nots” is none other than the famous painter, Pablo Picasso, who said: “Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not. ”
At 2BITE, we believe that any business is ordinary until it forsakes the “safe” and “common” and embraces the “unseen” and “unique”. Sure, a ship in port is safe, but that is not what ships were built for. This is why we help companies establish their core competencies and position themselves as unique from its peers. This is why we seek To Bring Iridescence to Enterprises.
The lure of Iridescence, therefore, is the promise of moving into unchartered waters and the potential to attain that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
